Ok, so just to break the monotony of the steel body frame, my wife was at the workshop today and she took a few random pictures (she is very art'y) some of the truck and some of random tools etc.

Even More Body Frame !
It must be getting boring now so its just as well i have nearly finnished most of the steel work for the body frame, Today i got the rear 45 degree angles finished on both sides and reinforced them both.
i am happy that when they are fully completed they will be able to hold the 1 ton of spare wheels and tires that will hang on them.

I welded so more steel today, one of the rear side sections is nearly finished. Now i am starting to get an idea of the internal space and the total length of the body 6.8mts.

Body Framework
Today i managed to get the right hand body frame done, this frame is just one of 6 that make up the whole steel frame work of the body.
This frame has one window and a door in it. the space you see where the red magnets are is 990mm 600mm for one of the windows in the seating area. The method i have adopted is to build the frames in place on the truck by tacking them together and then dropping them to the ground to finally weld and grind the welds.flat. This way i can manage the frames on my own. they are not light but its just doable.
